Information only - not legal advice
Everything on GulfVisaHub - articles, guides, calculators, fee estimates, tool outputs, and newsletter content - is provided for general informational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice, immigration advice, or professional counsel. We are not lawyers and we are not licensed immigration advisers.
Before submitting any visa application, renewal, or related document, always verify the current requirements directly with the official government portal or a licensed PRO (Public Relations Officer) in your destination country. Never rely solely on any third-party website - including this one - for a decision that affects your residency status or livelihood.
Visa rules change - often without notice
Gulf governments update visa fees, eligibility criteria, procedures, and categories frequently. Changes are sometimes announced via Gazette notices with immediate effect, sometimes phased in quietly through portal updates, and occasionally not publicly announced at all until applicants discover the change during processing.
We update our content as quickly as possible when we learn of changes - typically within 72 hours of a confirmed rule change - but we cannot guarantee that every article reflects the current official position at the moment you read it. An article that was accurate last week may be out of date today.
Before you submit any application:
- Check the official government portal for your destination country (listed below)
- Confirm current fees - do not assume our published estimates are exact
- If your employer or a PRO is sponsoring your visa, confirm steps with them directly
- For complex situations, consult a licensed immigration professional
We are not responsible for application outcomes
GulfVisaHub has no involvement in any visa application, renewal, or immigration process you undertake. We provide information only. The outcome of any application - approval, rejection, delay, additional requirements, or any financial or personal consequence - is entirely independent of anything we publish.
We are not liable for:
- Application rejections resulting from reliance on information on this site
- Financial losses from incorrect fee estimates or outdated procedures
- Overstay penalties, employment consequences, or deportation proceedings
- Delays caused by following procedures described on this site that have since changed
- Consequences of acting on information without verifying it from official sources
See our full Terms of Service for the complete limitation of liability.
Rules vary significantly by nationality
Gulf immigration law is not uniform across nationalities. The same visa category - family sponsorship, Iqama renewal, visit visa - may have different fee structures, document requirements, income thresholds, and processing pathways depending on your passport.
Our guides are primarily researched for Pakistani, Indian, and Bangladeshi nationals, as these represent the majority of our readership and the largest labour migration communities in the Gulf. However:
馃嚨馃嚢 Pakistani applicants
Rules for Pakistani nationals may differ - particularly regarding specific bilateral agreements, BEOE clearance requirements, and consular procedures.
馃嚠馃嚦 Indian applicants
Indian nationals are subject to eMigration Check Required (ECR) rules for certain occupational categories. Requirements differ for ECR and ECNR passport holders.
馃嚙馃嚛 Bangladeshi applicants
Bangladeshi nationals may face additional requirements under bilateral manpower agreements and BMET registration for certain visa types.
If you hold a different nationality, information on this site may not apply to you at all. Sri Lankan, Nepali, Filipino, and other nationalities are subject to their own bilateral agreements and rules. Always verify with the relevant embassy or official portal.
