Notes by profession category
Skilled / Professional and Semi-skilled: Subject to the standard expat levy of SAR 400/month where the employer has a Saudi:expat ratio at or below the 50% Nitaqat threshold. Workers at Platinum/High Green category employers may be partially or fully exempt - verify with your HR department. [VERIFY]
Healthcare professionals: Saudi Arabia has periodically granted levy exemptions or reductions for nurses and paramedics to address shortages. Check the current Ministry of Health guidance. [VERIFY]
